Morning

Good morning, the sun rises to greet ya
To bacon and eggs, you say I'm ready to eat ya
Out the door, a new day is ready to meet ya
Along the way, life's lessons destined to teach ya
Along with new problems ahead
Life's a bitch and then you die, that's what Nas said
In your Honda Civic, journeying around the block
To your job, you gotta punch in at 9'o clock
Got the coworkers greeting
While attending business meetings
Working hard for them new Jordans that you were dreaming
About having in your possession
Show them off? No question
Meanwhile the boss was talking about recession
People going broker than bones
Can't even pay their student loans
And not even the bills to their house or their phones
But you was never aware
You was just daydreaming 'bout some J's to wear
When out here's an economic nightmare
Lunchtime came and went
Three dollars and eighty cent
While you're eating, ask yourself: Have you ever paid your rent?
Back to work, continue the day
Boss called you to his office, he's got something to say
It's much, much more worse than just docking your pay
You were itching to buy the Jordan's, now there's just no way
But wait, it gets worse
Back home, you just got evicted
Unemployment's a disease, and you've just been afflicted
Had everything planned out, but this you never predicted
Life works in mysterious ways, whether pure or wicked
